Mailing deadline to receive my Race Packet (runner number and timing tag)?
The last day to sign up for packet mailing is April 25th. If you do not sign up for packet mailing, you must pick up your race packet at the Greater Body Expo. There is no packet pick-up available the day of the race OR prior to the Expo. The race packet DOES NOT contain participant t-shirts. Registrants who have purchase Plus or Premium registrations can pick up their t-shirts at Expo or the Zazzle Final Mile.
When will my Race Packet (with runner bib) be mailed to me?
Race packets are only mailed to those individuals who paid for the optional mailing service when they registered. We mail all packets on May 1st, 2012. T-shirts and Fnisher's Medals are not included in the race packet.
What is the deadline to register for a Seeded position?
Based on your requests, we have extended the seeded and sub-seeded deadlines. All seeded and sub-seeded applications (with proof of performance) must be postmarked by May 9th, 2012. If you want your packet mailed to you, we must have your seeded and sub-seeded applications in by April 20th. CLICK HERE for more information.
How do I register to be a pledge runner for one of the official charities?

When is the last day to register online?
The last day to register online is May 16th, 2012 at 12:00 PM.
Can I register on the weekend of the Race?
There will be late registration at the Greater Body Expo if the race does not sell out by then.
I lost my Race Packet (runner bib and/or timing tag), how do I get a replacement?
Replacement packets will be available at the Solutions Desk at the Greater Body Expo. We will have a very limited number of replacement bibs for each corral, and they will be available on a first come, first served basis at the Expo only. We do not issue duplicate runner bibs or timing chips on Race Day.
What is the refund policy?
Race registration fees, Bauer's shuttle and Muni shuttle stickers, and beneficiary donations are non-refundable and non-transferable. All events are rain or shine.
Can I pick up a friend's Race Packet (runner bib and timing chip) and T-shirt at the Expo?
Yes, you may pick up a friend's race packet for them at the Greater Body Expo.
Is my Registration fee for the race tax-deductible?
No. Registration fees are not tax-deductible. However, if you make a donation to one of our beneficiaries at the time of registration, your donation is tax-deductible.

What is the best way to get to the Start Line on Race Morning?
Public transportation is strongly recommended, whether you are coming from points within San Francisco or from the surrounding Bay Area. For more comprehensive transportation options please visit our Transportation Page. Please also note Street Closures on race day. There is no parking at the start line or at the finish line.
Is parking available?
AMPCO System Parking at the Embarcadero Center (1EC, 2EC, 3EC, and 4EC) will again be offering their special $10 parking rate on Race Day for registered race participants. Show your race bib when you pay for parking to receive the discounted price. The $10 price is for Embarcadero Center parking only. See map below for locations. Is there shuttle service before or after the race?
Yes; Bauer's Luxury Shuttle Services is the official transportation provider for the 2012 race. Bauer's provides eco-friendly, luxury shuttle services, and there are a variety of options both in San Francisco and around the Bay Area. The Bauer's shuttle sticker can be purchased as an option during registration, on-site at the Greater Body Expo, or after the race near the Zazzle Final Mile.
The Special Events SFMTA fare (sticker) is $12.00 and provides for service within San Francisco. Be sure to purchase your Muni sticker in advance to speed up boarding and avoid lines. The Special Events Muni sticker can be purchased as an option during online registration, as an option on the paper registration form, on-site at the Expo, or after the race near the Zazzle Final Mile. This Special Events Muni sticker is valid on all express and local service until 5:00 p.m. Please note that this fare is not valid on cable cars.

What is a start line corral?
Start line corrals are designated starting areas for participants with similar estimated finishing times. Corrals are used to ensure a fluid, less congested start. Click here for more information.
How are the start line corrals assigned?
You chose a corral based on your estimated finishing time when you registered for the race. Corrals for 2012 are A, B, C, D, and E.
When should I arrive at my assigned corral?
This year Zazzle Bay to Breakers will be doing a Wave Start. Start time and corral times are HERE.
Can I run with friends in a corral other than my assigned corral?
No, you will only be allowed into the corral you registered for. I you would like to change corrals, please visit the solutions desk at Expo or email us at [email protected].
Are baby joggers and strollers allowed on the course?
No; Due to the large number of participants at the race this year, pets, floats, strollers, baby joggers, grocery carts, roller blades, skateboards, bicycles, unicycles, and ALL other wheeled objects are NOT allowed on the race course. They present a serious hazard on the race course. Please respect this 'rule of the road.'

Is alcohol permitted on the course?
No; For everyone's safety and enjoyment, race organizers and the San Francisco Police Department will enforce City ordinances regarding alcohol. Kegs and glass bottles will be removed from the racecourse. Anyone publicly drinking or displaying public drunkenness on or along the race course will be subject to fines and prosecution.
Are pets permitted on the course?
Due to the large number of participants at the race this year, pets are not allowed on the race course. This is both for your pet's safety as well as for the safety of our runners and walkers. Please respect this 'rule of the road.'
Are floats, bicycles, unicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, or other wheeled objects allowed on the course?
No; Pets, floats, wagons, strollers, baby joggers, grocery carts, roller blades, skateboards, bicycles, unicycles, or ANY other wheeled objects are NOT allowed on the course. They present a serious hazard no the race course. Please respect this 'rule of the road.'
Where do I get my T-shirt?
T-shirts may be picked up at the Expo on May 18th-19th or after the race at the Zazzle Final Mile. T-shirts are ONLY included with PLUS or PREMIUM registrations. If you purchased a PLUS or PREMIUM registration, you must have your runner bib with you in order to receive your shirt. T-shirts are NOT available before race weekend.
How do I get information about volunteering for the Zazzle Bay to Breakers 12K?
The volunteer sign up module is currently closes for the 2013 race. Please contact us in December 2012 at [email protected] for more info on volunteering.
How do I obtain my Finisher's Medal?
Finisher's Medals are only available at the finish line to registered participants who complete the Zazzle Bay to Breakers. Medals are not included in your race packet, will not be mailed out prior to the race, and will not be mailed out after the race. When you cross the finish line you must have your race bib with you in order to receive your Finisher's Medal. PLEASE NOTE: The course will close at 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of JFK Drive & Chain of Lakes Drive in Golden Gate Park. Participants who have not passed the intersection of JFK & Chain of Lakes by 11:30a.m. will not have the opportunity to cross the finish line or collect a Finisher’s Medal. The finish line closes promptly at noon as stipulated by the race's road closure permit.Where can I find my results after the race?

How can I get my t-shirt after the race?
After race day you can opt to have your T-shirt mailed to you for a fee of $10. Send your name, address, phone and email with your runner bib and a check for $10 made payable to "ZAZZLE" to: Zazzle Bay to Breakers T-Shirt, 1900 Seaport Blvd, 4th Floor, Redwood City, CA 94063. Your bib will be returned with your shirt. Sizes are limited and subject to availability. If your size is not available, the next available size will be sent. Please allow 30 days after check clearance for delivery.
How do I get my official race photo? Where can I get my official race certificate?
Souvenir photos are available from Sport Photo. Wear your bib high on your chest for visibility. Sport Photo will be capturing images at the 6-mile mark in Golden Gate Park and at the Finish Line.
