Volunteer Opportunities

START LINE GREETERS

Greeters work with race staff in various capacities; including monitoring and securing entry points to the Start area and directing runners to their entry points. You must be 18 years of age or older in order to volunteer for this position. Please plan on arriving at the intersection of Beale and Mission at 4:30 AM sharp and staying at the start line until 8:30 AM. Click here to register for this position.

Water Station Volunteers

Water Stations are manned by teams of volunteers who are coordinated by our Preferred Beneficiary Partner, Breathe California. For more information about becoming a Water Stop Volunteer please visit their website.

ZAZZLE GREATER BODY EXPO

PRESENTED BY BIG 5 SPORTING GOOD Zazzle Bay to Breakers needs volunteers to help with race packet pickup, t-shirt distribution and usher duties at The Zazzle Greater Body Expo. Shifts are 4 hours, and refreshments are provided. Volunteers also receive an official Zazzle Bay to Breakers volunteer t-shirt. Greater Body Expo takes place Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19 at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium (99 Grove St., San Francisco). Bill Graham Civic Auditorium is easily accessible by MUNI and BART (Civic Center Station).

The following Expo shifts are available:
Fri 5/18 at 9am-1pm, 12:30pm - 4:30pm
Sat 5/19 at 3pm-8pm
